TIME FOR SUMMER CLEANING!

Dear College Park Neighbours,

The College Park Recreation Association (CPRA) is a volunteer-run board offering programs and services to improve the quality of life for residents living in the College Park neighbourhoood. We host many sport, culture, and recreation activities during the fall and winter for children and adults, and are always looking for new ways to improve the community.

This summer we will be hosting our first ever Community Cleanup, and we would love to have you take part!  This cleanup will be focused on cleaning up our back alleys of garbage not normally collected by the City. We also would like to wrap the morning up by offering lunch to all those who helped out.  We will not only help make our community a cleaner place to enjoy—but we will have a free lunch and get to know our neighbours better!

Event Details:

  • When: Saturday, June 16th
  • Time:  9:00 am – Noon (followed by a lunch afterwards)
  • Location:  Parking lot at École College Park School (Loraas bin located in front of school)

Note:  All volunteers please meet at the parking lot at 8:30 a.m. for instructions, clean up area maps, refreshments, and supplies.

This clean up event can’t be done without volunteers—so we need your help!  We are looking for volunteers, as well as vehicles or trailers that could be used to help with the garbage pick-up.

If you can lend a hand, please let us know at one of the following contacts: CPRA Secretary Helen Armstrong at home 306-373-1080; or e-mail:  secretary@collegeparksaskatoon.com

THANK YOU!
